::: Podcasting at the CRC 649

To proliferate scientific research and to communicate their findings in up-to-date ways, researchers from the CRC 649 create several podcasts. A podcast is a digital media file, or a series of such files, which is distributed over the Internet using XML-based syndication feeds. Podcasts can be played on personal computers or portable media players. The term was coined from the two words "iPod" and "broadcast" as the Apple iPod was the first device for which podcasting was implemented.
